46 Years of Innovation at CES

CES is upon us once again! Yep, the world-renowned tech trade show that happens each year in Sin City, Las Vegas. Every January, the “who’s who” in consumer electronics venture out to show off their latest-and-greatest gadgets and technology advancements. Over the years, CES has been host to product launches and first-sight previews from consumer electronics manufacturers across the globe. For instance, 1970 was the year of the VCR. 1985 brought us the Nintendo system. And can you believe it’s been over a decade since Xbox was introduced?

 

Most of us who are immersed in the industry are very familiar with what this massive show entails, but how much do you know about the history of CES? Well, we came across this nifty infographic that gives a few fun-facts about the show that has been around for – drumroll please – 46 YEARS! Wow. That’s pretty impressive.
